Thailand Air Forces are Training to Repair and Test C-130 Aircraft Systems
It was declared last year that the Royal Thai Force and the Directorate of Aeronautical Engineering (DAE) is going to be trained on the entire country’s C-130 Aircraft System because of a contract signed by PPI Technical Services. It’s going to be a straight forward operation where PPI is going to instruct the Royal Thai Air Force and the DAE maintenance specialists on accurate repair and testing methods that they can follow to ensure quality of work. A brief description of the C-130 aircraft is known as the C-130 Hercules turboprop military transport aircraft which has been designed by Lockheed Martin and utilizes four engines that use a Hamilton Standard 54H60 propeller system.
A valve housing hydraulic rig is an important part of an aircraft because it controls the hydraulic system which also controls the speed of the propeller in order to keep it going at the same speed during various stages of a flight. This is an important part for the Thailand Air Force to learn how to utilize and acquire.
The Thailand Air Force must learn how to operate, test, and repair in case the valve housing requires any repair or maintenance to ensure that the propeller system is being kept in a good condition and safe for operation. It appears that the training is initially going to take place in Kent, Washington for the first two months and then it will move towards the Thailand rig.
