SAIC Wins $109m US Army Contract for Aviation Systems and Computer Resources Support

Science Applications International (SAIC) has secured an aviation systems and computer resources support (ASCRS) contract from the US Army Contracting Command – Redstone which is valued at approximately $109m. The contract covers delivery of a variety of aviation systems, engineering, and software development services and are intended for the Aviation and Missile Research, Development, and Engineering Center, Software Engineering Directorate.

Under this order, SAIC will carry out lifecycle systems and software engineering support to ensure that the Army receives the latest technology and equipment required for mission success. The single-award, cost-plus-fixed-fee delivery order, under the GSA One Acquisition Solution for Integrated Services (OASIS) contract, has a one-year base period of performance, a one-year option, and an estimated contract value of approximately $109 million. Work will be performed primarily at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Alabama.
