MTU Maintenance Continues to Grow

MTU Maintenance, the maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) division of the German aircraft engine manufacturer, MTU Aero Engines, has steadily been strengthening its position as a world leading provider for maintenance, repair, and overhaul. In 2015, MTU Maintenance signed deals totaling in at a value of 2.1 billion U.S. dollars, creating for a new company record which represents a rough increase of 25 percent from 2014.

said the Chief Program Offer for MTU Aero Engines, Michael Schreyögg.

Many MTU customers have reaffirmed their trust in MTU’s MRO capabilities by extending or renewing their already existing contracts. Serving as an independent maintenance provider, MTU has signed more than 250 new contracts. Since its enter into business, MTU Maintenance has recorded around 16,000 shop visits, creating for more shop visits than any other MRO services provider in the world.
